So, fun fact: I wrote a book called 'Soul Safari' some time back. It is a women's fiction novel, mostly set in Africa. Here is the synopsis:

Two friends, two dreams, and one exotic African adventure that will change them both forever. Devastated by her husband's affair, Dr. Sarah Evans journeys to Africa in the hopes of getting her life back on track. Under the guidance of the enigmatic Professor Cunningham, Sarah tackles unusual and challenging cases, striving to secure a coveted fellowship in trauma surgery. Haunted by her past both distant and recent, she fights hard to fulfill her childhood dream. But when tragedy strikes, she must choose between the love of her life and the life she's always wanted.

Sarah's best friend, Anna Templeton, is desperate to save her failing jewelry business. She travels to Cape Town in search of a jeweler she hopes will turn her fortunes around. When her plans are dashed by a drug-demented designer, she retreats to a safari lodge to figure out her future. There she encounters a charismatic game ranger who initially gets under her skin, but eventually works his way to her heart. Through him, she meets a group of local women whose unusual creations may be just the thing her business needs. However, when the lodge is hit by a disaster, Anna must choose between two futures: one she always dreamed of, and one she never dreamed possible.
